Willow Tree Early Learning Centre is a family-owned centre established with a simple purpose: To create a warm, nurturing space where children feel safe to explore, play and grow, and where families feel supported and welcomed as genuine partners in their child’s early learning journey.

Our desire to operate came from a strong belief that a community service, like long day care, should always be about community. Our service turns back to the roots of why our services exist in the first place; to offer an opportunity for exceptional continuity of care, in partnership with families.

Located in Five Dock, Willow Tree Early Learning Centre features purpose-built nursery, toddler and preschool rooms, natural outdoor play spaces and vegetable gardens, and intentionally positioned around local facilities and shops to reflect our philosophy.
We proudly cater to children from birth to five years, across dedicated rooms, each thoughtfully resourced and staffed to support age-appropriate learning and development.

General
We care for children from birth to five years across our Nursery, Toddlers and Preschool rooms.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, closed on NSW public holidays.
Yes. We are approved under the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations and are regularly assessed against the National Quality Standard (NQS) by the NSW regulatory authority.
Enrolment & Fees
Simply complete an enrolment form. Full details regarding tours and the process are outlined in our Enrolment Information above.
Availability varies by room and age group. Where a place isn’t immediately available, we’ll add your child to our waitlist and be in touch as soon as a place opens up.
Our daily fee is $155. Most families are eligible for the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy, which reduces your out-of-pocket costs. We’re happy to help guide you through the CCS application process.
A bag with spare clothes, sheets, a water bottle and nappies or formula if required.
Daily Routine & Curriculum
Our program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and delivered through play-based learning.
Yes — our Preschool room places particular emphasis on building the independence, early literacy and numeracy foundations, and social-emotional skills children need for a confident transition to future formal learning pathways.
Absolutely. Community is central to our philosophy, and children enjoy regular outdoor learning, walks, park visits, gardening and sensory experiences as part of their daily routine.
You wil receive daily updates, photos and learning stories shared via our digital learning platform, OWNA.
Health & Safety
Yes, all our educators hold relevant early childhood qualifications and current Working with Children Checks, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Nutrition
Yes. We take the guess work out of lunches. We provide nutritious meals and snacks, as part of a rotating menu.
Yes, we accommodate allergies and cultural, religious or medical dietary requirements — please provide details during enrolment so we can put the right supports in place.
Communication & Community
Of course. Families are always welcome to visit, and you’re welcome to call the centre at any time for an update.
We welcome family involvement through orientation visits, family events, feedback surveys and open conversations with your child’s educators about their learning and development. In addition to this, we host many community events that allow our Willow Tree family to build a village around them to navigate the joys and challenges that come with raising children.
